Faraday Cage Applications

Faraday cage is a network woven with electrical conductors and protects everything in it from electric fields. Faraday cage protects from lightning and electrical fields. In addition, as it provides passive protection, it is a preferred application in places with flammable and explosive materials.

The high electric current coming from the outside cannot enter, thanks to the Faraday cage. In addition, the electric current inside does not go out. The name of the Faraday cage comes from the name of Michael Faraday, who found the Faraday cage.

In its simplest definition, Faraday Cage does not take in external electrical currents. The symmetrical net of the Faraday cage made of copper wire should not be broken. This is very important to keep the system running. The copper network is connected to the ground and electrical currents are transmitted to the ground.
