Thermal Power Plants

A thermal power plant is a steam-powered power plant. Technically, heated water turns into steam and the steam turbine turns. In short, this is how electricity is generated in thermal power plants.

Of course, thermal power plants are divided according to the type of fuel they use. Not all thermal power plants generate electricity using the same fuel.

Coal power plants, nuclear power plants, geothermal power plants, solar power plants and garbage power plants are, for the most part, thermal power plants. Since coal, fuel oil and natural gas are fossil fuels, such plants are called fossil-fuel power plants.

As Ekin Energy Inc., we continue to provide services for all power plant works. We complete all stages from the planning of the work to the project design and completion stages.

Electricity generated in thermal power plants requires some costs for production. The most important of these costs is the fuel required for electricity generation. In addition, costs such as the installation cost of the thermal power plant facility, the costs of workers, thermal power plant maintenance costs, waste costs, etc. constitute almost the expense items of the thermal power plant.

We are ready to provide information to our valued customers about processes such as types, costs and electricity generation of thermal power plants.
